Just what’s on the headline, what ckind of adjustments should I make to mantain my current knee angle/saddle height after switching from spd’s mountain bike pedals to look keos… Thanks
My understanding: By the difference in thickness of the cleat from the sole of your shoe to your pedal. For instance, I just switched to Speedplays. My old cleats were 0.5cm thick; my new cleats are 1cm thick. I raised my seat by 0.5cm.

I would wager to say not at all.

I can see no way that that post refutes what I wrote. Step 1 was to put on your cycling shoes. If your cycling shoes are now taller than they were before, then the distance from the ground to your greater trochanter is now longer.
Of course, technically Dr. Coggan is taking 96% of the distance, so I guess you could argue its only 96% of the difference between your new cleats and your old cleats. In that case, I shouldn’t have moved my seat height up 0.5cm; I should have only moved it up 0.48cm!
Who said I was refuting you?

I didn’t understand why, but I thought you were wagering that my method was not right at all. I get it now; I’m extra dense tonight. Maybe I just better go to bed and start fresh tomorrow. Cheers!
