He has been ill with Shingles. Very debilitating. He is on the road to recovery but still somewhat off full fitness yet.

Blue is running 2:30 pace. Sam will have to blow up to lose.
Sam looking in a bit of pain now. Still running well and got a big gap…surely Sam has more than enough to take the win.

It was a great day of racing and the atmosphere in Roth is just the best in Triathlon outside the oly games.
