So glad I didn’t replace my 2nd gen Nano and Shuffle this winter. Not sure I’ll wear it swimming, I like the sound of swimming, but this looks pretty freakin’ awesome (can’t get a pic to upload on tinypic):

I fly through headphones b/c of sweat and hide the cord in my shirt and the Ipod on the belt, so that looks promising too!

I wouldn’t trust anything without reviews of how it stays on in the water, with flipturns, etc., but it looks like a great design.
USMS just reviewed a bunch of mp3 players for swimming; worth a look if you’re shopping.
As stated in the initial post, I doubt if I wear it for swimming…I’m just in the market to replace two old MP3 players and it just being sweat proof is enough for me. Will need to investigate if it can store playlists - one very limiting factor of my Shuffle.

If swimming isn’t important, get the ones that are currently being discounted, it’s the exact same thing without the waterproofing.
The currenty Sony W does support playlist, and it’s an incredible device. I realize that I am lucky, but they fit my head perfectly.

Again, it’s subjective but I can’t say enough about the thing. I used it every single day last week and there is still a little bit of battery left. I hate wires when running, I can handle them for a couple miles, but they always end up annoying me after that, so this completely eliminates that issue. Plus I don’t like armbands or having a phone in my pocket. (again I realize that this depends on how they fit your head) It can handle anything, burpees, box jumps, benchpress, and running for miles without coming loose.
