Cervelo Superprodigy frame?

Hello Forum users

Does anyone know of a bikeshop that has a Cervelo Superprodigy frame in 58cm in stock ?

I tried a friends bike and really liked it, however the LBS only has a 56cm left and as it is a discontiniued model they cannot order one for me.

very hard to find now, since this line has been discontinued by cervelo. trizilla (www.trizilla.com) and cycles bikyle (www.bikyle.com - got a 54 from them) only have them in availability in smaller sizes. try keeping an eye on ebay…i’ve seen superprodigies listed every once in a while. also try a google search. maybe you might find a store listing them that might be able to ship one out. good luck in your serach.

I like those. I haven’t seen one in a while. Pretty good bike though, a little stiff for my taste. I like aluminum or carbon.

Thanks - i tried googling but with no result. Not too keen on buying on Ebay, but maybe i should start sometime. allthough i have checked and there are no frames there currently.

I thought about Serrotta also for a high quality steel frame.

Might be easier to find a whole bike as old stock. A guy in our roadie group just bought a 54 cm.

Damn shame that Cervelo stopped making that bike. You can’t beat the ride of steel IMO. Gerard posted not long ago that the reason they stopped production was because of tubing availablity problems. They were selling virtually every one they produced.

I hope Cervelo makes this bike again some time.

I recently saw a SuperProdigy (old stock complete bike) in size 56 or 58 at The Bike Barn, in Penticton BC. Their phone number 604-492-4140. I would have bought it if it was a 60. Good Luck.
