So I’m curious does the Cervelo S/N have the year in it? The s/n starts out SNP2S06L and then what appears to be the sequential number.
I had a similar question when considering purchasing a used bike and simply phoned Cervelo directly. Their agent was immediately able to confirm the manufacturing year and other details in a few seconds and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up purchasing new rather than used and the service I received took place during the decision making

Dec (from the L)
A=Jan, B=Feb, L=Dec
Later in the year serial numbers would be considered next year’s frame. (I’m not sure when the cutoff is.) So yours is a 2007 model.
Doesn’t quite make sense what you wrote. First you say July from the L and then L=December.
