Lots of color changes for next round of Cervelos. S3 looks good, though I did kinda like the red. No, I have no pictures handy at the moment. Seat post is not reversible.
What color is the S3?
Seat post not reversible as already mentioned. But S5 two-positon seatpost fits, which can help get more forward if needed.
Mostly black w/ red highlights near head tube. S2 is all black.
Any date estimate?

Is the 2016 S3 set-up for an Di2 internal battery or is the default still the external battery?
I didn’t order any complete bikes, just framesets, but It appears they’re all internal now. At least from the catalog picture.

I find it interesting that’s your sales pitch on the S3. It tends to perpetuate stereotypes that exist regarding tangible frame differences in the context of how they ride.
I say that not as a negative, but as a “hmm” kind of thing.
It’s an instagram post… I sell bikes to people depending on what they want out of the bike, and what the position says best suits them. However, since you bring it up: my sales pitch (in a nutshell) to someone is go for the S5 unless a) the S3 fits better b) if the S5 is cost prohibitive. The statement is very much oversimplified, but then again, it’s an instagram post.
Yea I recognize that; it was just an observation.
That sums up the reason I went with the S3 over the S5. Didn’t see enough difference in advertised aero differences (4 watts when talking just the frame) to pay the price difference. I added aero Zipp bars and 50mm carbon wheels and with my aggressive fit, it seems fast enough for me.
I’ve been running 27mm Vittoria Tires on my S5 and I like that quite a bit. I haven’t tried that on the S3. May try 28 GP4000s on the S5 to see if they’ll fit. So that might be another consideration if both are options.
So I just bought the 2015 S3. Are there meaningful upgrades to the 2016 that should upset me for not waiting?
