Cervelo PX adapter design input. Please help

Hi Gang

I am on the fence about how to design my adapter for CSR+ or any other superbar to work with Cervelo PX series.

I have 2 options

  1. Do something like Vision did, which is using the pre existing tilt built into an EX10 monopost and roughly just remove the 22.2 and make the wing with more holes and a little longer. But also adding in a BTA attachment.

  2. Make it so that it works with my Tilt system. Essentially make a plate that adapts it to similar to my monopost that allows easy accesss and ability to change your tilt on the fly with 1 bolt per side of -10 to +24 degrees and will look similar to this?

It adds weight and some bulk, but the bike itself isn’t light. But the wing will be the high version which lets you bring that pad over the tilt and closer

Input plz

I would recommend going a direction similar to Vision’s but with bta mounts.

As you mentioned the bike is not light. There is no need to make it heavier than needed with a too complicated design. Not sure who needs more tilt adjustment than what the ex10 riser provides. That design also does not slip over bumps if by chance the bolt isn’t tight enough. Either way you go, try to keep the shapes smooth and aero. Some adapters look so chunky they look like the could add more drag than the new extensions remove.

Look forward to seeing your design.
