Cervelo P5 Disc - Garmin Varia Mounting

Just got a Cervelo P5 Disc (2021) and trying to figure out how to mount my Garmin Varia to it.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there are any 3D printed options (I found this, but contacted them and they confirmed it won’t fit the P5 disc model :frowning: https://neat-components.com/products/seatpost-mount-for-cervelo-p-series).

Only other method I can think of would be to just buy a larger O-ring, since the provided ones are way too small for the aero seatpost.

Curious to hear if anyone else has another solution (or the size of O-ring to buy), I saw a slowtwitch article where they mounted the Varia to the integrated rear hydration mount in the seatpost, looked cool but then you lose the rear bottle…

Mine came with a couple sizes of o-ring, fits fine on my p2c which has a similarly sized seatpost
.

I just use a few o-rings looped together…

Mounts under water bottle cages on seat post. It is awesome.

Second the KOM Varia Mount - really easy to use and remove or swap between bikes.

Ended up finding a 3d printed mount here: https://concentriccycling.com/products/cervelo-p3?_pos=1&_psq=p5&_ss=e&_v=1.0

it works super well!

I just pulled really hard on the longest o-ring in the varia pack and it fit. Never broke while I had my P5.
