With the demise of TBT or at least the risk of losing a bike when using their services, I need to figure out a plan B to get my beloved Cervelo P3X from point A to point B. I have a EVOC bag/box, which was fine when I travelled with a shiv where I could remove the handlebars by unbolting the stem faceplate. What do people use to safely transport their bike? I’ve never had an issue with bike damage using the EVOC setup, and could be persuaded to use their newer Pro model that allegedly accommodates TT bars. Does anyone use a solid box with the P3X? If so, how?
I use the 2 piece base bar from the P5X, and my XL frame is a perfect fit in the EVOC Pro bag. That base bar might be hard to find though.
I use the scicon aerocomfort 3.0 for my p3x in size XL without any problems.
