I am trying to get to the di2 box to charge the battery.
But how do I get the cover loose without breaking it? I am sure I do something wrong but I can’t get it loose.
Not ridden this bike myself, but perhaps the manual helps?
Especially pages 22/24/26

I have already looked at the manual, looks a simple slide in place thing when you place it.

I gonna try this tomorrow
AND DON’T TURN THE BARS BACK WHILE CHARGING!!! You will crack the housing cover. Ask me how I know.
I leave a huge written note for myself on the aero bars when charging so I don’t forget.

The quality of the hard plastic bits (at least the stem cover and speed case) seems poor for the price tag of the bike. Treat them like raw eggs, spares were unavailable last time I checked (not too long ago).
Love that people who don’t own the bike are telling you to read the manual and it is easy!
Its a pain in the arse and to me one of the most irritating design flaws with the P3X. I have been through 2 of the plastic housings already, the housing itself which hides the Di2 junction box is attached by the tiniest bit of plastic etc that it is so easy to break with minimal pressure. There is no easy way to access the charging port of the junction box without sliding things up. If you need to stuff the small amounts of extra cables etc into that space then it tends to blow the sides out and destroy the mounts.
I do find it frustrating that this area was not over-engineered etc or done in a way to make it super easy to charge.
Good luck in not damaging yours…
I got the cover off… crappy designðŸ˜.

It’s not so much the cover that slides out, it’s more the way the cables etc need to be jammed in and that can split the housing……
I have relocated the junction box, after this easy hack , you don`t need to remove the lid again.
I made an video where I explain what I have done
