I recently bought a used aluminum P3 and am using it for road TT’s. I have been riding for over 25 yrs mostly on an older Colnago steel frame. The colnago is a very nice ride , but the bottom bracket is about three quarters of an inch lower than the P3. I find it hard to hold a really straight line with the P3 as it seems to want to drift. I’ve noticed that the Cervelo TT bikes have higher BB’s than their road bikes. Is there a reason that a TT bike would need a higher BB? Would this not make them less stable on a straight line? I’d like to hear from anyone who’s had a similar experience.
Thanks
