Cervelo is closed today and we are hopping busy. Would any of you guys out there know if R2.5 Chorus bikes are going to available anytime soon? At all?
For what it’s worth, my local dealer said that the availability of the R2.5 was unknown (though definitely not within this coming week). If anything, he is backlogged about three or four orders already for people and also still waiting for his store inventory order for the year.
I have to admit I’m a little discouraged to purchase one now since it takes so long. I can head over to any of my other local shops and buy a Trek, Look, Guru, Colnago, Calfee, or any other carbon frame pretty much that day. No luck on the Cervelos. Kind of disappointing considering that every buyer is spending thousands of dollars.

my dealer has said the same thing. While I have been disappointed (and he has as well) that Cervelo won’t give him a definite ship date for the P3C I have on order, I have heard that he is awaiting delivery on lots of Cervelos, the R2.5 among them. He is puzzled at the delays – doing everything he can to keep customers happy and committed to their orders when so many other quality bikes are available now.
