Good enough for an elite racer so good enough for the rest of us I would imagine, right? The eccentric BB is a nifty touch.
Yes, but having both an Aspero and multiple CX bikes, my opinion is that the Aspero is a bit harsh to truly excel in a CX environment.
What are your thoughts on it being an N-1 bike for someone who primarily rides road and gravel but is contemplating dabbling in CX?
Essentially what I’m doing with my Parlee Chebacco right now. It works pretty well for this Cat 4/5.
I just got mine and plan on using it for both gravel and the odd CX race.
Sold my CX as it would only be used a few times a year. It’s not the perfect CX bike vs the custom CX version Sunweb is using but for my purpose it’s good enough.

Perhaps the best value on the market at the moment.
It functions as a road and gravel bike very well. My Tarmac has essentially been retired to the trainer. I would likely only take the Tarmac out again if I was doing a big climbing day and didn’t want the extra weight of the Aspero.
My daily rides are ~ 50/50 pavement and dirt. With the understanding that this is not intended to be a “plush” ride, there’s not much I would want to change about the bike.
I’ve also done a few “hot-laps” on a local CX course and it did great, however in contrast to my Crux(s), it’s just a bit chattery in rough sections.
