Castelli vs Sugoi jersey sizing?

I typically wear a size small Sugoi jersey, and am 5’11" and 155-165lb depending on the time of year, with about a 38.5-39 inch chest (98-99cm). The shortsleeve small Sugoi jerseys are a little snug but fit okay in the summer when I’m a little lighter, and the sleeveless are just about perfect all the time. I’m getting a free Castelli jersey through the Tour de Cure, but I’ve heard that the Castelli jerseys run a little bit tighter, “Euro” sizing. Officially I should be wearing a Medium in Sugoi (94cm is small and 99cm is medium), and Castelli says I’m closer to a Large (96cm is M, 100cm is L). Anyone have any suggestions on sizing? I’m tending towards a medium in Castelli at the moment…

Don’t know about Sugoi, but I do know that Castelli runs small. I go *at least *one size up. Some things two up.

I’m 6’2, 190, broad shoulders and wear XL bibs and XL short sleeve jerseys (XXL long sleeve).

If you should be in a medium Sugoi, then I would go with a large Castelli.
I wear L in Sugoi and my Castelli jerseys are all XL

My experience is medium Castelli / small Sugoi.

You would probably be a med Castelli If you are in a small Sugoi.

I’m 191cm 175 lbs, 98cm chest and wear a large Castelli jersey and knicks. For my Sugoi kit I’m a medium jersey. So one size up when going from Sugoi to Castelli, one size down when going from Castelli to Sugoi.

Except Aero race jersey its 2 sizes out of whack…

Thanks for the replies, it looks like a medium will probably be fairly close to the right size. If it’s a bit tight that will be my incentive to get back to race weight…

FYI I finally got the jersey, and a size medium fits perfect.
