I’m running a FSA Gossamer Compact Crank (34/50 I think), and I’m looking to run a 9 speed on it.
Any idea what the correct/perfect cassette I should get?

The correct cassette is the one that gives you the range of gears you need for the type of riding you do. That being said most folks run an 11-23 with compact cranks, since it will give a similar range as standard cranks with a 12-25, but with tighter spacing between the cogs.
