Carbon Railing saddle adapter for Cervelo

There is now an adapter on the market to install a carbon railing saddle on the cervelo P and S series seatpost. I ordered one for myself from fleabay. I’m just passing the info, I am not the one making or selling them.

Yep, for the P5 at least, it’s called a Ritchey WCS One-Bolt Alloy - Clamp Kit for 7x9.6mm (Fizik carbon) Item # 41-260-807!

Have you used the Ritchey? Does it work 100%?

100% positive it works. Make sure you get the right one though, as there are two ovalized versions plus the pure round rail type from what I remember. I use mine with a carbon Spec. Sitero.

I have veered away from carbon rail saddles because I did not want to add complexity to my life (already complex enough). What are the advantages…so you notice less road vibration?

Carbon rails are no bueno.

I already had a nice saddle with carbon railing before I bought the S5 so the only reason I got the adapter is too use the saddle I already had. I’m not sure I can feel the difference between carbon and normal railing.
