Carbo Pro, Motivator/Vantage cocktail

Looking for a secret weapon? Try this combo on a long training day. I was given these products. I was told that I would feel a remarkable difference in my legs. After working in sports nutrition for a number of years, I figuered it would be another great way of to fuel for a long ride. The Carbo Pro is pure maltodextrin that can be used to make a 1000 claorie, almost tasteless, water bottle

Whether it be the Motivator, Carbo Pro, or Vantage,… they work!! I have used all 3 of these products independantly of one another and got a good response from each. However, when used all together, the result was fantastic. My legs felt like I was completely tapered and ready to race, while in the middle of a 400mi bike week.

After investigating, I was informed that most of the top finishers in Kona have these products in their arsenal. I guess I have been under a rock for a while!!

I know that B&L and Nytro carry these products locally. They do not have a dealer page on the site, but I am sure you can do a search or go to www.sportsquestdirect.com

Coming from a guy that has tried everything, you need to try this package.

Yep…and sugar free White Chocolate Jello-brand pudding has plently of maltodextrin as well. It’s been fueling me all summer!!!

Hello,

Actually Carbo Pro is not “maltodextrin” … http://forum.slowtwitch.com/gforum.cgi?post=350941;search_string=carbo-pro;#350941

This is a link to an earlier discussion and I actually spoke with owner about this. Carbo Pro is a great product. I have used a couple different fresh juices to melt it down and make it into my own carbopaste to put in a squeeze bottle. It works great and I don"t have to throw away 3-5 little packets. A touch of hot h2o and some fresh pineapple or lemon & lime juice works great. Thermolytes will round out your nutritional needs.
