Canyon Speedmax CFR - BTA Bottle Mount

Does anyone know where you can purchase a mount for a BTA bottle setup on a 2024 Canyon Speedmax CFR. It seems like the setups you see on all the pro bikes are custom parts (probably with 3D printed parts). I don’t have a 3D printer and was hoping to find a mount that I could attached to the monobar. If I could just figure out a way to create a mount, I think I could get something from Tririg to finish the job (e.g., BTA rail and/or riser).

I bought the BTA Bottle Mount Canyon from WATTWORX. I recc the bottle cage they sell as well, the one I use launches at least once per 50 miles ridden.

I got mine from radsport. In Europe, not cheap, but works well!

Karl and sax - thanks a bunch. This is exactly what I was looking for!

Hi guys,

Have you seen the new mounting from Canyon itself?

I’m wondering how much that might be adjustable. I can see only one part which we can mount in two ways, so it will be diffucult to cover all possible extension angles.
Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Well, they do ship internationally and the material is non breakable and wont splitter in case of crashing.

I’m also using the Radsport BTA mount and it works well. They have different angle options to offset whatever angle you have your extensions at so that your bottle is level.

Yes, i have decided against them, as the material is not superior and mounting is a hassle (i would have had to dismount my setup)…i also like the fact, that there is no metalinserts in the mount which are limited in force and screws can rattle loose an and finally my drinking hose holds properly and aero  But they are surely good, too…

i had the one from Wattworx set it up with a rail from TriRig. had a 950 bottle above and a 750 under. today after a few hundred miles and using in IMLP, with about 2/3 of the 950 bottle full and the 750 empty, it snapped in half…
guess I am going to try the radsport.

was concerned about snapping before I buy so I emailed Wattworx, the founder replied “ The new all aluminum version was designed for 2 bottle setup. He have had a few 3D printed version break when people tried to do a double bottle setup. The new all aluminum version can handle any standard bottle out there. “

Well, until the next one breaks…it seems they did not test properly before selling their 3d printed stuff. i would be surprised, that they did now…i would always prefer 5 mm carbon….aluminium is not the premium solution here imo, but mostly used as it is a hassle to produce carbonfibre stuff…
