Canyon speedmax CF SLX headset replacement manual

Hi there

Does anyone have the manual how to replace the headset on the 2021- 2022 canyon speedmax CF SLX?

Last year I replaced the bearings after my full ironman in Klagenfurt (with a lot of rain on the bike) my handlebars where stuck. At canyon they told me this is completely normal and I was thinking, normally I will never ride In The rain, but if your race is in bad weather the headset is ruined. So did they developed a bike that cant handle rain?
They want to charge again more the. 200 EUR to replace everything and I was wondering, if there was a manual for it, with my road bike my father replaces it himself. So we where thinking to open it and check the bearings ourselves, its not that canyon is trying to help us :-(.

Once you remove the handlebar (top loading screw, stem screw(s) and tiny pre-load screw under “stem”), it’ll be like every other bike really.

I’ve had my current Speedmax for a year, been riding in all conditions plus indoor, and the front headset doesn’t even make a tiny noise, not to mention any play. Your case is weird.

That’s what I thought but a friend of mine also had to replace them after 1 year 🙄 . So it’s not only me. And it’s not that I’m spraying water on it directly. That’s why cayon their answer is so weird.
