What’s the standard for aero roadbikes? The Cervelo S3?
What you guys think of the NeilPryde Alize? Looks nice…supposedly largely designed by BMW Designworks.

I’m pretty sure that the Felt AR’s are the aero road standard right now.

Admit it - you giggled when you read about this “aero” bike.
I like the bike actually. There are some design elements that are very nice. I like the underside of the BB shell. The seatpost binder is an elegant solution. The rear dropouts look very clean.
I am encouraged to see so many brands enter the aero road market. It is a viable area to gain an advantage for the riders and validates the investment in the category. I’m excited to see what the other big brands unveil this year.

Some interesting concepts and design decisions at play there. They have definitely gone at the problem from some slightly different angles. It will be interesting to see if their conclusions are validated in any independent testing. It is a nice looking bike, for sure.
speaking of the NeilPryde bike, not the Canyon
All I’ve got to say is Philippe Gilbert took it to 110kph and says it’s the fastest bike that he has ever ridden…and I believe him.
In that case, the fastest bike I’ve ever ridden was my 1998 Cannondale Road CAAD 2 or whatever it was back then, with Shimano RSX on it. I rode it 95km/h down a hill. It’s the fastest I’ve ever gone on a bike - so it is the fastest bike.
In the Tour test the fastest tested aero bikes are Kestrel and Felt followed by Cervelo S3, Canyon is the second worst aero bike but wins overall for stiffness, price etc.

do you have a link to read about this test?
competitive cyclist is carrying canyon bikes for 2011.
That’s what their sponsored team will be riding this year.
Aero road bike hun???
Hour Glass Head tube???
I am thinking that maybe Cervelo should sue them for something as wide spread and commonly used as the seat stays… that would be poetic justice!
There is a link on weight weenies. Basically the felt trounces everybody. Cervelo and kestrel are decent and everybody elae nliws to the extent that they would have been better off not creating an aero bike at all.
The misspelled words would be “else blows”
.

Canyon sued Cervelo for copyright infringements and won.
That is my point. Senseless use of the legal system.
“Senseless use of the legal system”
You are obviously ignorant to the reasons of the legal system. That case, of Canyon v. Cervelo, represents precisely why the legal system is in place.
