Trying to register for 2022 Ironman 70.3 Oregon and I keep getting the error “Please enter a valid membership ID” in the section where I provide my USATriathlon membership number. I’ve verified that the number is correct and I’m able to login to member.usatriathlon.org and I can see my membership number. Anybody else have this problem?
Is your membership valid through the date of the race?
Yes, you need to renew your membership to cover the race date. Happened to me as well yesterday for LP
You’ll have to reach out to USAT. Be patient… because it takes them a while. It’s something on their back end. I had the same issue.
It was indeed due to my current USAT membership expiring a week before the race. I renewed it and that fixed the problem. The error message “invalid membership ID” is misleading. Thanks for the solution.
I just encountered the same issue.
The site has no mechanism for renewal of a “current” membership that I can see.
I just emailed them. A frustrating quirk for sure.
