I am in love with the cannondale slice, but I think the new version is a little ugly. So… I pieced the current model and the new model together, in hopes of getting your opinion.

Like the other guy says your link doesn’t work…but who cares if we think they should have made it differently? They had their reasons for making it the way they did, and making photoshop mashups (which is what I’m assuming you did) is kinda…pointless, you know? I mean…it’s not like Cannondale is going to look at the picture and say “Oh, damn, we should have made it THAT way instead!”. Notwithstanding the fact that they have a team of engineers who work on designing bikes with a certain philosophy, it’s also a moot point. That ship has sailed – the Slice RS is going to be what it’s going to be.
What’s the point of making up and drooling over a bike that doesn’t and will never exist?
The Slice RS with a “normal” aero seatpost would LOOK slick. The weird looking seatpost the prototype has must ACTUALLY BE slick.

It looks a little like the triad. new rs front end with an older rear. I think it looks bad ass.
My opinion? The mockup looks slick, but, as others have said, Cannondale have their reasons for making the RS’s seat post as it is. That said, I like my Slice just fine; Photoshop not required.

Good luck with that. If past history is any indication, Cannondale doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to delivering bikes. Most of their higher end models are a nightmare to get your hands on for quite awhile. They really need to get their supply chain issues sorted or they will find themselves in a ugly place. Sad thing for a company that makes great bikes. I gave up hopes of an evo because the shops couldn’t give me any confidence they could actually get one in for me last year.
Like what you did creating small step change. Seems like a nice interim step if it could be executed.
As long as its aero, who cares what it looks like.
