I’m looking at an older F600 that has a busted Head Shok. If memory serves that isn’t essential to the headset working properly…it just loses the suspension/cushion…correct? It’s just going to be a hood/gym/bar beater so no need to drop coin on a suspension part that won’t be necessary. Thanks for any 411
It might clunk a bit as it bottoms out over bumps, but the needle bearings and components inside the shock are independent of the two cartridge bearings used for the headset. It’ll be fine as a beater.
