Cancellation charge

Hey all,
I’m just getting some feedback. I usually don’t get last minute cancellations and was wondering if anybody out there charges if someone cancels within a certain time period? What would the charge be?
It can be a bit frustrating.

When we started doing fits, we just took appointments… I found that last minute cancellations and no-shows were a problem maybe 10-12% of the time. We switched to a booking system that allowed us to charge when the appointment was booked and that really took care of that problem. There was only one time someone didn’t show up, and we just re-scheduled it. We offered refunds up to 24 hours before the appointment, otherwise, re-schedule only.
