Care to elaborate?
I’m very much in favor of vaccines
Also this is the not political side
About 5 days late.
for real.
measels outbreak has nothing to do with the healthcare system, and everything to do with fucking morons listening to conspiracy theories. it’s probably likely that the vaccines are less readily available in all locations d/t population sparcity.
look at alberta for example. was at the hospital last week and there are tons of signs saying if you have xyz symptoms, please do not enter.
yes, a sign. hooray. how about this, make it mandatory that anyone enters a hospital wears a n95, period.
Ask yourself why Alberta and Ontario are leading the charge.
It is preposterously easy to get these vaccines if you want them. For once, I don’t think the healthcare system is entirely to blame here.
they’ll lead the charge for covid as well. what used to be covered, now cost most people money unless you are a co-morbidity. the hoops my wife had to jump through to get a covid vaccine is just crazy. she was able to “jump” the line because she is pregnant.
In BC I get spammed with texts to book my shots. It’s arguably the most accessible form of healthcare we have in this province.
I don’t get the flu/COVID shots
. Generally out of laziness, before anyone asks. Never did before COVID.
I’m in BC. Got my flu/COVID shot last week. Received an email and a text saying I could. Went to the website which provided dates and times for every possible place, including pharmacies. Selected time and done, choosing a spot 150m from my condo. No charge. And I’m still alive. Weird.
But the microchips!
The UV light and Invermectin makes short work of those.
A lot of doctors were not in their offices long after we understood that covid had a very low mortality rate among young health people ie less than 70. I felt that I was in more danger during HIV pandemic and SARS than during covid. Younger doctors who never experienced an epidemic some of them went off the deep end. Ironic that labs that did bloodwork and ultrasounds had to be at work but doctors could opt out. So some populations much less likely to get required vaccinations. In my area that would be what we call Mexican Mennonites. They are the epicenter of the measles outbreak in Ontario. If family doctors had been paid fee for service instead of being paid to sit on their asses at home (pardons to the people who stepped up in the hospital) they likely would have been in their offices. Fee for service doctors go very little support during covid. So the dysfunctional healthcare system at least in Ontario had something to do with it.
Yes, it absolutely is very easy to get them. I fall into the narrow age range that potentially didn’t get fully vaccinated for measles, per the current definition. Called my doctor to confirm that I was, in fact, part of that group, and booked an appointment for the booster for a couple days later.
What? Where are you that this happened. You can literally walk into any pharmacy here and get your Covid and flu shot for free.
Alberta?
Different provinces, different rules. Alberta is working hard at being MAGA north
bingo…
