Can two users share a GPS watch?

I can’t find a reliable answer to this in the manufacturers sites. I have not previously owned one and would like to be able to share the GPS running watch with others in the family who may want to track run distance/pace.

Which models/brands can do this fairly easily.

Thanks.

John

You could do it with a fenix 3 and just record your name with an activity on garmin connect or strava.

Your vo2 max and race predictions will be messed up but they’re just a bit of fun.

You can then filter your activities from your names.

It’s not ideal but it’s cheaper than a watch each.

I’m sure other watches would do just as well.

I’m guessing they want you to buy separate watches, at least as far as Garmin is concerned. Two people can use it, but you can’t create a separate profile for the same watch.

With a Garmin, just upload the files manually to TrainingPeaks/Strava.

My wife and I have our own Garmins, but sometimes shit happens and we use the other’s.

Thanks. That is what I wanted to know.
Anybody know if it is possible to set up multiple profiles for any of the other brands? Tom Tom maybe?
