The panel of three ‘public’ non-industry arbitrators ruled that J.P. Morgan, Evan and Avi were each liable for constructive fraud and common law fraud and that J.P. Morgan and Evan were also liable for elder abuse in violation of Florida Statutes. As is customary, they did not explain their decision in the award.
I agree that to most it would barely register a blip on the radar. For some reason in the local entertainment circles this (podcaster) person gets a lot of air time. Not all stories on Newscorp are of her saying something inflammatory either. There are just as many sympathetic ones. She appears to have quite the following.
So when people sprout rubbish to a wide audience they should be called out. Why is it ok to call out someone making a racist remark in the media, but it’s an over reaction to call out someone making false racist claims in the media? It feels like a double standard.
This ad still works with a Rihanna or (going back years) a Tyra Banks.

You asked did I read the decision. They were convicted of elder financial abuse and the appeal was rejected.
The elder financial fraud was in relation to other family members being scumbags and not in relation to what I originally wrote about insider trading. David Schottenstein (cousin) obtained material nonpublic information from members of his own family which he passed on to hedge funds to collude with for the purpose of profiteering.
Elder financial abuse is far more serious on the scumbag scale which two grandkids were convicted for.
Between August 2017 and May 2019, Schottenstein obtained material nonpublic information (MNPI) from members of his own family—who are major shareholders or directors of several publicly traded companies—regarding the earnings results and merger-and-acquisition activity of those companies. According to court documents, Schottenstein traded on that information and provided it to two of his friends—one of whom controlled a hedge fund in which Schottenstein was an investor—who also traded on it. The publicly traded companies in which Schottenstein and his co-conspirators traded included Aphria, Inc., DSW, Inc. and Rite Aid Corp., among others. Through this scheme, Schottenstein and his alleged co-conspirators netted at least $4.5 million.
To be fair, I think these extreme leftists amplify themselves as well.

Side note: I think i have about 50 people blocked. Probably 45 of them are racist assholes but the other 5 are what I’d call leftist soapboxers. I don’t need my daily dose of, “If you won’t date a transperson, then you are as bad as Hitler” PSAs in my feed.

They worked for JP Morgan Securities you know the bankers that are the salt of the earth. Cousin convicted of insider trading on information received from family members, grandkids committed fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and financial elder abuse. It was a FINA arbitration case so not technically found “guilty” as it was not a criminal trial. Most people know enough at this stage to draw their own conclusions.
MAGA folks have done an excellent job at portraying ALL democrats as a bunch of hateful, satan worshipping, extreme woke, pro terrorist, DEI obsessed lunatics. Lefties get worked up and frustrated but unless they come up with a strategy, MAGA folks are winning this one.
