For sale is a 2004 Calfee Tetra Tri (54 cm, 650c), full carbon fiber, American hand-made, triathlon bike designed for speed, light weight, strength in the right places and lifelong durability. Please read Craig Calfee’s design and construction approach on the website listed below. He is known throughout the bike world for attention to detail, making frames and joints that last a lifetime, and lead the industry in tri specific seat angles. Bike is a cool blue/purple color with Craig’s famous prismatic paint that shows off the carbon fibers and changes color with the light on both the frame and fork.
This bike was purchased in 2003 and has been used primarily for races. Included are race ready, 650c, Mavic Cosmic Carbonne wheel set, mixed Durace (crank) and Ultegra (Drive train, brakes, shifters) group, Ritchey bars and stem, and full carbon fiber Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork. Frame and fork(s) are in near new condition, never in a crash, a few minor chips in the clear coat only on the chain stay and one on top of the top tube. Both are extremely difficult to photograph and have been treated with a clear coat sealant.
Additional black, 650c, Reynolds Ouzo Pro Aero fork available for an additional $200 if desired. Older Look Carbon Pro pedals and saddle also available for a fair price if desired.
