Caffeine use is back on WADA’s radar screeen…has been the talking piintin Australian sporting circles thae last week or so as some AFL players revealed their use of caffeine…this lead to the captain of the wallabies (Rugby Union) saying that many wallabies use it and he also said the beenfits of its use was supported bu some Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) research…the AIS research has caught the attention of WADA who are now ‘reconsidering’ their decision to take caffeine off the prohibited list.

Tough call this one. They had real problems controlling it’s use before and due to it’s evidence in so many daily food products will be a real problem for athletes if it is put back on the list. Looks like my pre race redbull nitro cocktail may have to be consigned to the bin then…

I never could understand why they took it off the list… even more with pseudo-ephedrine.
