The fact they released him leads me to believe they do not feel he will play this year once the commish comes down on him.

He could have tried to get a permit, if he felt he really needed one. It’s almost impossible to do in New York or New Jersey, from what I understand. But he broke the law. And why did he feel he needed a roscoe? For protection from fans? That might have been enough to get one approved.
Here we go with guns again. I see some evil scumbag just went off the res up in Binghamton, New York, and killed a ton of folks. Now…if just one of them had been armed and knew how to use the weapon, would we have seen this level of violence? Of course, not having guns in our world would be the best solution, but who among us even imagines that’s remotely possible?

In Plaxico’s defense he only stupidly shot himself. In the case of Vick he deliberately killed dogs. Give Plaxico a break and send Vick back to prison in his place.

**I realize he broke the law, I’m not big on law. ** ** ** The law is very clear and simple.But if your judgment has run askew by too many movies and hip hop videos of punks bustin caps then you will do time in a state insitition. Those are the laws I live with in them.I have a concealed weapons permit and abide by the rules. It is not only he had a unregistered weapon but NYC has a whole different set strict of laws.He was in possession of the weapon it was concealed it discharged and was in a establishment that served alcohol. GAME OVER.
