Buddy can you spare a bike?

I am going to be staying with family in Warwick, New York for a week starting this Friday. My dad is losing his batttle with colon cancer and so I have been frequenting his house for extended periods of time the past few months.

My season started about 6 months late this year ( I have an 11 month old son) and so I am working on my bike base right now and would really like to ride for, amongst other things, my sanity while I am in New York.

So far the only road bike rentals I have seen are in Manhatten and charge around $100/day which does not really appeal to me that much.

Anyone out there that lives near Warwickor northern New Jersey area that might have a bike to loan or rent for a reasonable price for 5 or 6 days? Or does anyone know a shop that rents for a reasonable weekly price? I can drive almost anywhere to pick it up. Albany? New Paltz?..

I ride a 56 but smaller is ok too.

I don’t live close and don’t have a spare bike but thought you deserved a bump…

Are you flying? If so, it’d cost you around $200 roundtrip to take your bike with you…just get a box from your LBS and pack it up.

If you’re driving, there’s got to be someone who will lend you the needed bike rack for the week you’re gone if you can’t fit your bike in your car.

I have a spare one and I am in North Jersey. I dont want money but I also dont want my bike stolen or broken.
