Why not building crossing QK bridge for access to Energy Lab without crossing the cyclists?

If I understand your “question”? My understanding was the NEL people don’t want spectators in there. Nobody is allowed except volunteers/race staff. So a bridge is pointless.

I think you got it right, many years, no problems. And by the time there are significant runners out to the NEL, the cyclists are pretty few and far between.
