Bottle Cage Color - Most Important Thread Ever

So, I finally pulled the trigger on a new S5 rival. White shall be its color.

Now, the real issue comes to light. Because we all know that it is better to look good than feel good. So, what bottle cages should I be using? And, most importantly, what color should the bottle cages be?

It should be noted that I am a serious tightwad, so fancy pants $100 cages are out. Think for Bontrager cheapo plastic. Which, by the way, have served my current steed well over the last 6 years.

Help! This could be the make or break point of my season.

cages - customize your own. I have a white cervelo S2 and bought some specialized z cages in white/black. I then used some rit dye to make them half red and left the other half white/black. I might be able to upload some pics if you’re interested. I wanted to bring out some of the red which is striped on the down tube and top tube.

Elite Moro carbon cages. Cyclingtips suggested these and they are great. Super tight hold, no chance you will lose a bottle.

Nashbar and amazon both sell them for $35. Find a Nashbar coupon and it’s even cheaper.

I really dig the Serfas Cirque SL cages. Light, sexy and really good bottle-holding on the bumpy roads.
Most importantly, they come with a bunch of colour highlights. Mine are carbon with yellow highlights to match the carbon-grey and yellow of my Boardman SLR.

I like that red/white Elite cage a couple posts up too.

i bought inexpensive white aluminum cages on ebay from china ($10 shipped or so) for my white cervelo RS and am happy with them.

imho - only white for a white S5
