Bontrager's aero base bar

To throw in with your HED and Zipp aero base bar choices!
These are quite nice. Very small frontal profile, Very stiff, They only fit oversized however.
Pictured here with their clip on bars and optional “s” bend exentsions
These bars do offer you a slight drop as well for those who do not want a flat base bar

I’ve been riding these for about a month with my vision tech carbon aero bars and love them! The cable routing gets the cables in tight and out of the wind and you can use your favorite 31.8mm clip ons. Not ultralite but very stiff and good looking, with the right stem and clip ons you can easily make this as light as most of the one piece bars.

Let me guess: $1500.

$219.99 base bar
$149.99 clip on
.

I believe around $200 or so is what I paid.

It looks like the trend is to go to a 2 piece aero bar instead of a 1 piece.

Can you run the bars underneath and put the pads behind the base bar, basically with the top of the pad inline with the top of the base bar? I.e., can you configure it in a low-stack format?

I was playing with them today when I stoped by the shop to pick up some stuff for Rhodsey for CDA and Ragnar for Norwegian Nationals. The bars are kinda cool, not as thin of a profile as the HEDs but pretty close. You can very easily set them up like Bjorn had his old T2s setup, ie clamps mounted under then shimming up the pads to be base bar height.
