Anyone able to provide a link or “how to” with removing Bontrager rxl front bearing??
Thanks
No Trek or Bontrager-produced videos that I know of…here are a couple I found by Googling “Bontrager hub bearings”…there are quite a few more along these general lines.

.
Much appreciate the links. However, despite searching YouTube ad the internet I am not able to determine how to expose the bearings on my Bontrager rxl front hub.
I would appreciate more resources.
Thank you
what model year is this wheel?
Maybe take a look through this manual:

.
Basically, it’s not clear as to how to remove the hub cover. Some hubs use an Allen key within the axle others use a spanned wrench and others you seem to simply pry off the hub cap. Neither method seems to apply to this hub.
Thanks.

2013.
Check this out and see if it works…the prying method has a tough time with axle caps that extend into the hub…a little back and forth twist as you pull makes a world of difference.

Seems helpful. Good to see that it should pry apart. I have tried prying but not with great force.
Since watching this video I will give it another effort with care not to damage parts.
Thank you.
OK. So…I got to the front hub bearings thanks to help from this forum.
I cleaned the bearings with brake cleaner.
Waiting for them to dry before I apply lubricant.
While spinning the hub on my index fingers I can sense the “roughness” of the bearings. I am not confident the lube will help eliminate this “roughness”.
I plan to lube the bearings with remote control helicopter bearing grease (Align one-way bearing grease). It is a light weight low friction grease.
Otherwise I could use “Epic” bearing oil (very light/low friction). However, I do not think that will last.
Any critiques regarding the above process and the lubrication choice?
Any links or videos on how to replace the bearings?
Thanks

Carl, are you able to provide a link/video on how to replace the bearings.
Thank you
I’m not sure one exists. A good bike shop might have the skills and tools, otherwise there’s the Bontrager Wheel Service Center…which offers, among many other repair and rebuild services, bearing replacement. That program is available through your Trek dealer
