Now if the water would only warm up you might be able to get excited about swimming… 53 - 54 degrees right now… BRRRRRRRRRRR.

Yeah but it’s not like we have slither into first thing in the morning. I’m lucky, my OWS training site is also in the mid-50’s!
anybody got a review of the new bike course? Hilly, windy, etc?
That water temp. sounds like Alcatraz. It’s a good thing we’re starting after 2pm!
Ironheart-I thought you told me the course was downhill? One thing I do know is it will be a much faster course than Pacific Crest and the climb up Mt. Bachelor in 80-90 degrees as that was a brutal run.
Go Team Blaze!
The weather here has been very unpredictable… but with as much rain as we have had it will likely be warm by the time your race day comes. I can’t imagine it could possibly continue to keep raining!!! Wind is always a possibility in Southern Idaho, and with all the turns it will level itself out IMO (tail vs. frontal wind). From the course map it looks like you have no real climbs. Be prepared for ANY weather conditions. The rain/cold put a lot of people into hypothermia last year, but the heat can come on here super fast too.
anyone remember what the mens swim waves time were last year at this race?
