Blueseventy PZ4TX vs Roka Viper Pro

Hi All,
Want to get a swim skin for this upcoming season and can get last year’s models of these 2 suits in size small for a great price. Was wondering what ST’s collective experience is with these 2 suits? One clearly better than the other? Pros/cons? Sizing charts accurate? I’m 5’7" and race at about 142 lbs., swimmers build w/a 40" chest - is on the high side of small w/Roka, right in the middle w/Blueseventy. I’m a very competent swimmer and while not super fast, I do come in fairly high up in my age group (55-60) at the races I do. Any insights/recommendations appreciated!

Thanks,
John

I have the Blue70 PZ4TX and can’t fault it,but I wished I had waited for a sleeved swim skin … I thought Blue70 debuted one in Kona, but I can’t see it on their website. Unless you’re racing in France …

I’ve been waiting for the PZ4TX+ myself.

I’m waiting on the sleeved version as well. I was told “late spring” by a B70 rep.

Thanks for the replies. My races are in the U.S. I had read about the sleeved version but trying to get one on the cheap. Since I’m not close to a podium spot, don’t know that it is worth it for me to fork out the extra bucks for sleeved. I know Kiwami is coming out w/a sleeved version as well.

I have swam and raced in both and they are both nice. I think you would be happy with either but yes I would prefer to be in the middle range of sizing at least with Roka. I tried to fit into small side and I had troubles. BlueSeventy makes some great stuff. If you want to save 25% at BlueSeventy.com use: TGb702016

Good to know they are both quality suits. Appreciate the info and the tips on sizing Thomas. Thanks for the discount code too!

anytime. By the way, I did a quick crude test last spring of a couple of swimskins. I didn’t have a BlueSeventy suit at the time yet: You might be interested: http://www.thomasgerlach.com/2016/05/triathlon-skinsuit-testing-roka-viper-Tyr-torque.html
