Does anyone have any experience with packing a blade with the aero seat post 04 model and packing it in a ironcase. Since the seatpost is so big do I need to remove the cranks becasue by just removing the seatpost the big ring hangs out a little. Ive tried to move it but nothing works. The only thing I can think of is to remove the crank. Im packing it for IMAZ and need help. Thanks
Hi there,
It indeed requires you to remove the drive crank as the aero seat tube is so tall, but that should be pretty easy work. I have traveled lots with my 04 size 57cm Blade and so I have done it several times.
I realized that unfortunately very similar as you when I packet it the first time.
See you in Arizona.

thanks
Now i need to go buy the tools to remove it.
just remove the chainrings
much easier, should solve the problem and no need for tools
.
Well, to be fair, you do still need tools to remove the chainrings. Just different ones. ![]()
ok you got me on this one. Of course you need a tool to remove the chainring.
Everybody has (or should have) one of those folding multitools. I meant to say that by choosing to remove the chainring he wouldn’t have to purchase additional tools.
