Bioracer SPEEDWEAR CONCEPT TT SUIT

Is this suit really worth $320 to you that have it? My team suit is a Voler and I am looking to improve everything I can. Any clue how many Watts this suit can save me?

Thanks,

Keith

Remember watt savings are very much individual…what may work for others may not work for you. Unless you can do some aero testing with the suit yourself I suggest looking elsewhere (training, nutrition, helmet). At least with a helmet. you can sort of test it yourself (if your team doesn’t have a helmet sponsor)…just saying

I would find the recent Cycling Weekly skin suit test. They test a number of suits. Yes they are individual, but oftentimes a turd suit is just that and your Voler probably falls in that category.

Probably the Best Buy out there now is the Velotec suit from England. Something like 150$ and tests nearly as well as the BioRacer on a number of different riders.

+1^

fwiw, the Voler tested bad for me (vs. a Velotec)
Next test is the Velotec vs. the BP3.3

Agreed with what everyone is saying. It is individual. The Voler suit actually tested better than my Kiwami suit. No experience with the Bioracer product though.

Just checked out Velotec…it seems you must order a minimum of 10 so the Bioracer is still cheaper especially since you can get it here in Europe for about 230 USD. Appreciate the info though!!

nah, you gotta look at the online shop to find pricing on single suits. Link Here. Unfortunately they’ve been flying off the shelf as soon as they stock them.

Would you mind sharing what the CdA difference was between the suits?

As an aside, I was talking to someone that had tested with ERO recently and he was talking about helmet/suit interactions. It hadn’t occurred to me that it would be another decision point, but I guess it kinda makes sense. I want to say the P-09 worked better with the Velotec. Maybe you need to add that to your testing list.

Thanks for all the great info guys.

I’ll take another look when I get home. It was outdoors on a track, and it wasn’t so much testing a/b/a/b as it was just trying to suck up time sitting while the beginner class did their practice races… so not the best data. It was easy to see the drop though. I’ll send you a pm later.

I hear you on helmet/suit interaction. It seems like my list of stuff to test and verify continually grows and I seem to very seldom make a dent in it :frowning:

Velotec just got a stock of inventory in if anyone is interested.
