Yeah, put me down as a fan of the Wilier coyote. Nice.
However, I know its an unpopular choice, but Jens’ Soloist carbon would look really nice in my garage. Gotta support the local business.
Me think you got them backwards. The Trek may lack some of the Euro splash but it is a very effective “tool” for a pro.

I agree that it is a ruthlessly effective machine, but it just don’t look pretty. This is a shallow analysis:)

The Wilier looks like someting my 7 yr old daughter painted. That or a carnival ride.
I don’t dig Treks, but it does have a certain business suit like elegance to it. So I guess I’d take the business suit over the clown outfit.
Iles Balears Opera-hands down prettiest bike.

Great call. Don’t envy the Luiqigas guys having to ride Aluminuin all season, though.
I like the new giant with no seatpost (just an extension of the seat tube)…really neat.

It is a sharp looking bike, no doubt, but I’m still in love with the Wilier. Look forward to seeing the 2006 Colnago C50 extreme, too. I think the BH bikes are another low point in the peloton.

I disagree- I think the Trek looks like a purpose built, high-tech race machine. It looks unified. The Wilier looks scattered. The new Ksyrium ES wheels are cool, but again, not a “clean” look with the one red spoke. The bike just looks like a mish-mash of parts.
Best paint scheme: Liquigas’ Bianchis
Style points: Fassa Bortolo’s Pinarellos
Best overall performer: Discovery’s Treks

Heck i’ll take anyone of them!!! It would be a cold day in h@ll before my wife let me spend what it would cost to buy one of those bikes…lol…
I think i would have to ride them first…kinda like before you buy a car…before i made my final decission…
I also like the LaPierre Carbon X-Lite Ultimate. They’re making some sweet frames these days.

Nope, the Saunier Duval CR1 has the best looks of the tour bikes for me. Of course, if the CSC r2.5 were Record equiped…
