BikeInn.com thoughts?

anyone have any experience with this outfit? thinking about getting a Vortex from them. price is great, even after shipping costs (crazy high) its still only $467.

are they reputable?

I bought TT-helmets from them this summer. First ordered a Rudy wing 57, but changed my mind and wanted Kask Bambion. I figured out just after the first one had shipped (to Norway!), but I got to return it no problem, and ordered the Kask. No trouble for me - I got decent service.

Allthough - be prepared to get signed up to their newsletter! (I did - but easily unsubscribed after a while instead of just pressing delete in my inbox by reflex)

They are fine. I’ve used them before for clothes and had no issues. However, ProBikeKit has the same trainer for $458 include shipping.

thanks for the heads up, I have never used ProBikKit either, ordering from over seas always has me a bit on edge.

I ordered a ton from Probikekit. Some items were huge. Never had any issues.

I ordered a SciCon Tri bag on Bikeinn before IM AZ. I was a bit nervous since it was several hundred dollars cheaper there (even with 90 dollar shipping) but checked with SciCon itself before ordering and they advised that Bikeinn is an authorized dealer.

The process for ordering was a bit strange (had to send photo ID and call my bank for some authorization number or something if I recall). But, I received the SciCon case within a week from Spain and it was still in its original SciCon warehouse box and in perfect unopened condition with all parts included.

I recently used Snowinn (which I believe is the same company) and ordering was easy.
I then received a few emails to let me know they had several items on backorder despite the stock info stating the contrary at the time of purchase.
I had to cancel these ones (got a partial refund) to actually greenlight shipping the available items.
Partial refund came in quickly though.
Other items then shipped from the Netherlands and were easy to track.

On a side note I got hit hard by customs duties and processing fees (in Canada): $29 for $65 actual value (and declared value).

A bit disappointed not all items could make it, but could have been even harder with steeper fees.

Good communication on their part though (email came from Bikeinn If I recall, which makes me believe they are one massive sport depot)
