Bike/Tri Shop In Vegas

I’m flying into Vegas to do the Rage Half next weekend. I will need to pick up some CO2 prior to the race, any recommendations on a LBS in Vegas to pick them up?

Goggle showed Pelton Sports, Pro Cyclery and Southwest Bikes, any others or preferences?

There are bike shops in Boulder City which is might be on the way depending on your route to the lake

There are three good bike shops between the airport and the race:

  1. Bike Shop - taking I 215 East towards Lake Mead NRA, take the Pecos exit and go left (North). Shop is approximately 1/2 mile up on the right side of the road on the conrner of Pecos and Wigwam. Ask for Terry - He Rocks!!!

  2. JT’s bicycle - Take I215 East to I 515 South (towards Boulder City) the first exit you hit on 515 south is Horizon Dr. Take a Right on Horizon and then an immediate right onto Horizon ridge. About 50 yards till you hit the strip center with the shop in it.

  3. Random Mountain bike shop in Boulder City which I can’t remember the name - Take I215 East to I 515 South (towards Boulder City). Once you are in Boulder city, look on the left side of the road. The city is mostly just one street of commerce, so the shop will be hard to miss.

If worse comes to worst, PM me, I’ll give you my #, and you can call me and I’ll have a couple of cannisters for you - Threaded or not?

I’d recommend JT’s. I live a mile from this BS and so is for me, my LBS. They are well stocked and very knowledgeable. CO2s cost about 2 bucks there. Like many shops, they sell and service all kinds of bikes, from BMX on up. But they are 90% geared towards road/TT.
