Is it relatively safe to keep my bike in the garage? I live about 15 mins. from the ocean so I don’t think salt air would be a factor, but what about every day moisture etc. I live in coastal SC having just moved here from S. Jersey and there seems to be a huge difference in the moisture content in the air, of course in Jersey I lived a few blocks from the beach, so everything pretty much deteriorated over time.
i live a 1/2 mile from the beach, no problems here. No rust on anything I can think of over the years. Only problem I had was laying a wet wetsuit on the top of a VW, that did cause rust
Should be fine, I live a stone’s throw from the sea and don’t have problems from salt air. I biggest problem of rust comes from not cleaning and drying your bike after a wet ride.
