… Hey what’s the best route to ride to Horseshoe Bay from the 2nd Narrows/IronWorker memorial bridge? Once I get into West Van, do you pretty much stay on Marine? Gotta go see this ferry crash

Come off the bridge head west on the low road (past Park and Tilford, past wheat silos) through to Lonsdale. Past Lonsdale, up a small hill and then descend down to a three way junction (a Dutch Pancake house on the corner) turn left and then on towards the auto mall but dont go over the ramp on your right just keep heading west on I think its called Garden. This is the main road running parallel to the busy section of Marine. If you know North Shore Aquatics store, Garden is one road south of the store.
Then keep going west past the reserve under the Lions gate and then you are Marine. Just keep heading west through Ambleside, Dundrave and then HSB.
The part that is a pain is from 2nd Narrows to West Van, especially when you first get off 2nd narrows.
If you want to make it longer, from HSB go on to highway up to Cypress, then home via the highway and Taylor Way. Make it even harder take a right on Westport from Marne Drive up to the highway - steep!
