Is there a better type of bike rack lock out there? I just strapped a rear-end rack to my 1995 Buick LeSabre, which actually makes me feel much better about driving an old lady car.
I would not trust any lock even with a roof rack for more than two minutes, much less a trunk rack. Several folks have reported locked bikes and racks getting ripped off of their cars after leaving them in parking lots on busy streets. If you can’t see it, it’s not safe.
