I’m thinking about getting fit at this store, the owner appears to have some great credentials, has anyone done any business with this store to put me over the fence?
thanks in advance.

I’ll assume that you’re going to visit Drew Kallio at Bikefitter’s in Ponte Vedra (do they still have a shop open in St. Augustine?). Drew’s a nice guy and I’ve been there for some minor stuff, haven’t gotten a bike fitting or a bike from him. I did spend some time talking to him about orthotics and getting measured on his custom laser measuring air inflatable footbed thingamajig (I’m sure there’s a technical name for it, but I’m going with thingamajig). He seemed knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy, good points in my book.
They closed the St Augustine shop and are now in Ponte Vedra Beach only
Drew’s done a great job for me.
I’d highly recommend him.
Yep talking about Drew, i have an appt with him on thursday for a fit, ill post my exp. He sounds like a true professional.
Owned 2 B&B’'s in St Augustine. I visited Drew ALOT. I bought lots of equipment from him and also had a great fitting. Even went back a few times and was refitted. He does a great job.
Zipp,
Thanks man, any places you recommend checking out in Pointe Verda?
Not much in Ponte Vedra (sp?). Definiately visit the nations oldest city, St Augustine. Right acorss the bridge that spans the intercoastal waterway from Ponte Vedra. Take a walk along St George St, the walking mall in the middle of the historic district. I used to live 1, 100 year old block off St George St on Hypolita St, in an apartment over Claudes Chocolate Shop!!! 2 blocks away is the old fort right on the waterway, great place to visit and listen to the old cannons go off. Also the VERY FIRST Ripleys Beleive It Or Not is in St Augustine, FL.
Right around that next corner, Hypolita and Charlotte St, you’ll find the Inn on Charlotte, the second Inn I owned. It is a gorgeous house built in 1918.
