I apologize if I’ve overlooked the obvious, but are there any reasonably priced (I know, highly subjective) bike computers that allow you to record splits/laps?
Thanks,
Michael Bey

Cateye Double Wireless. Can be bought new for $99.00. Does cadence also.
I’m thinking of getting rid of mine as it is overly complicated to use in my opinion. If you do buy it make sure you use loctite on the screws on the head unit mount as they have a habit of working loose and flying off the bike!
Well, the more they do, the more complicated they are. But I just focused on doing the basics, and then I started to screw with laps. You just push the lap button, and it displays the results for the last lap. If you want to review them, you press the right and left buttons at the same time, then cycle through by pressing the right button. My only complaint is that it is hard to read the little letters telling you what things are, but that I find that happening more and more.
Ok, you saw through my argument. I can’t see the little numbers, damn you!
You can always go with a Garmin Forerunner. You can have automatic lap counters or prematurely delineate a lap if needed. I’ve got the 201 myself and have used it as a bike computer on my TT bike. I’ve got it set up with 1 mile laps which is nice for up to date mile times during the 40k.
