Bike cases and rental cars

Hi,

I want to put my Trico Ironcase into a rental car. Anybody have knowledge of what cars I can fit this case into?

It will slide into the back seat of pretty much any car. For the trunk, you’ll need a large American car, or at least a smaller one where the back seat flips forward, then you can slide it in the truck lengthwise. If you don’t need to put people in the back seat, I’d go that way with the rest of the luggage in the trunk.

I use a pretty standard bike box and usually rent a mid-size from Avis - it’s usually an Olds Alero or a Potniac Grand Am. all you have to do is push both seats forward to get the box in and then push them back into their normal position.
