i assume most of the articles, gear, reviews etc focus on road bikes…but…do they do a good job covering Tri bikes?
Would you recommend a subscription for a relatively new triathlete looking to learn more about bikes?
thanks.
Allot of the stuff is geard towards newer riders, so I think you would find some good tips in there, at $12 for year it’s worth trying.
Both are geared to newer athletes, but I think you’d get more from a subscription to Triathlete.
This forum is also great for specific questions.
i currently subscribe to triathlete mag. but was thinking maybe bicycling mag would take it a step further.
IMO the gains would be marginal at best. Get it if you enjoy the read, but not if there is specific stuff you want to know.
On sites like this and BeginnerTriathlete there is a rich history of advice and perspective on what to look for in bike and equipment; both general (should I get a road bike or tri bike) and specific (which tires for said upcoming race).
The search function on both is your friend.
