Dos anyone have any experience or info on an 07 BH GC Aero? I can’t seem to find a whole lot of info about these bikes esp. an 07

.
I’ll try to help. Didn’t Astana or Liberty Segieos ride them back in 06 or 07? You might want to check out some 06 or 07 TDF/Vuelta photo’s on cyclingnews.com or grahamwatson.com and see what the pro riders were riding?
This might at least give you a picture of what they look like and how the pro’s are positioned on them.
I know its not much, sorry.

bump.
Liberty seguros rode them in the past, there was a pro tour team on them last year as well. They are a Spanish Bike company I believe.
I dont think they were widely distributed in the US until 08 when Chris Cocalis (former owner/founder of Titus and Pivot Cycles founder) started BH cycles US. I believe they had more Euro/Pro Tour slack geometry.

Thanks for the info. I think they are ridden now by ag2r. I was really intersted more in ride quality and how the GC Aero bike compared to other TT/Trialthlon bikes. They look really cool, and the price is right, but I don’t really know much about the build quality. Does anyone have any experience with riding this bike?
Hi,
Didn’t Eneko Llanos ride one to second overall at Kona.
Running HED C29’s F+R if I recall correctly.
I could be wrong on the model. (much like my difficulty keeping my top level Giant brand road bikes straight) .
Look back a few months and there were some photos of the top pros at Kona and their positional styles. IIRC it was a Dan(Slowman) Empfield article.
Mr Coacalis will hopefully give a boost to BH in the US

Dont’ know anything about the 07’s. But I’m good friends with the guy who is Chris Cocalis’ partner in BH-USA. He’s currently riding the GC Aero '09 (Zipp 404 f/r), and currently training for the Kona 1/2 in May. LOVES the bike. Say’s it’s lightweight and very stiff. As for me, I just bought one yesterday and am waiting for delivery. I’ll post more once I get a few miles on it.
Having said that, I met with Chris C. yesterday and he went over some interesting points. First, Chris says that as far as pushing the envelope of bike technology, the three front-runners in the industry are Cervelo, BMC, and BH. BH is hardly known in the USA, but Chris and Co are working hard to change that. Ag2r is riding BH in the pro peloton. They had a good showing at the Tour of California. Eneko Llanos rode one to 2nd place finish in Kona. With regard to manufacture, interesting note: the GC Aero and Cervelos are both built on the same production line by the same manufacturer to very similar specifications (designs notwithstanding). Chris was going over some of the finer details of the construction: carbon nanotubes for strength and weight savings, conduit-routed internal cabling system for ease of build and maintenance. Rear-facing drops so the rear wheel can tuck right in against the seat tube. The latest model is lighter and stiffer than previous years. The seat mast is interesting in that you can dial in your ride 74 - 76 - 78 degrees of angle, depending on if you’re riding long course tri or short course TT. Pretty cool.
Chris said that one intresting point where Cervelo and BH set themselves apart, is that most companies test the bikes in the wind tunnel without riders. He said anybody can get a “faster” bike in a wind tunnel if you slam the bike down (look at Trek and Specialized). Today you see many aero bike models with really short steerer tubes and negative incline top tubes. They look really cool and are definitely faster in the tunnel, but even the fittest most limber pros are using these bikes in real life with headset spacers and elevated stems for comfort and more efficient power output. So BH (and Cervelo) are working hard to build bikes that strike a balance between speed and efficiency.
I think $-for-$, the BH offers a very high value.
I order my new BH GC AERO yesterday and the bike arrive the next month.

I’ve only ever seen one. It’s a very short bike. Built around 74deg as best as I can tell. Probably comparable to an Orbea in terms of geometry if I was guessing (which I am). But the reaches will be quite short, and with short front centers.
